Once you buy a ticket, you’ll choose the team you’ll play on! You can play for Team Greg or Team Laura! Then, you practice the 5 HABITS of the game every day to earn 10 points per category for your team!
How You Earn or Lose Points:
Earn POINTS for: practicing the HABITS each day
Incur PENALTIES for: eating more than the allowable number of non-compliant snacks (think junk food) and drinking more than the allowable number of alcoholic beverages
Win BONUS POINTS for: completing random pop-up challenges, submitting your Before+After stats, getting a perfect day, and getting a perfect week
The 5 HABITS:
- EXERCISE: Do one of the assigned workouts (or, if you have your own program you follow, that counts!). Required minimum: 30 minutes of dedicated exercise
- NUTRITION: Comply with the requirements in the game! Each game’s nutrition focus will be different but examples include portion control, eating more nutrient-dense foods and less packaged foods, etc.
- WATER: Drink half your bodyweight in ounces
- TRASH TALK: This is our way of saying “check in!” in the community forum! (Don’t worry, we have rules in places to keep it light and fun!)
- FREE HABIT: Choose one additional habit to do to get daily points - it can be anything!
At the end of the game, the team with the most points wins!
The DAILY scores for you and your teammates are added up and then averaged each week. (Total points divided by # of players.)
This is how a team of 23 players can compete against a team of 47 players.
Then, we add up your team's WEEKLY scores to determine your on-going total.
The team with the most points at the end of the game wins!

It’s super important to us that Get Fit Done is for all ages, all fitness levels, all shapes and sizes and weights!
That’s why scoring is based on yes/no COMPLIANCE, not ability. In other words, did you do your workout?
“Yes I did it!” gets you points.
“No I didn’t do it” doesn’t.
We don’t require you to compete in how many reps you can do, or how far you can run. Instead, we’ve leveled the playing field by awarding you points for doing your workout, however that looks for you, period!
Our workouts are delivered in two levels:
LEVEL I is for beginners and intermediate level exercisers, with easier variations of exercises
LEVEL II is for intermediate to advanced exercisers, with harder variations of exercises
So whether you're just getting started or have been working out for years, the game is for YOU!
That depends! Players get to choose to play for Team Laura or Team Greg!
* That said, do you have a group you want to bring and play as your own team? Get in touch! We can make that happen! AND, when you bring friends, you get tiered pricing! (Read: Discounts!)
So sometimes there will be additional teams, like if we have a Guest Coach playing, or if a player brings their own group, or if a Corporate Team wants to play.
But EVERY time there will be at least two teams - and you get to choose which coach you play for!
Go to the GAMES page, select the game you want to play, and sign up!
You'll receive confirmation by email.
We start learning the rules and setting goals during the week BEFORE the game begins, so sign up now so you can access the pre-game content and learn everything you need to know before it’s go time!
Not anymore! In the new game, you get to choose to play for Team Greg or Team Laura!
That said, you can absolutely bring your own team. Just let us know and we’ll get you set up!
And, the game is indeed more fun with friends. So, beg, bribe, coerce - bring ALL your friends and get fit done together!
::: high five :::
Here’s what two past players have to say:
"For me, it's being accountable to a team. I suck at being accountable to myself, but I'm kicking ass for my team. I don't want to let them down."
"It's just sooo fun because it's a really amazing group of positive, funny people! The coaches keep it light and fun, and we get crazy good results because we’re doing the habits! It’s as simple as that! We're in this together!"
YES! This is a HUGE new feature of the game. In past games, you simply did 30 minutes of any exercise of your choice to earn your points. You did not get trainer-designed programs.
Now, every game comes with a full workout program created by our professional trainers!
And the programs get progressively harder within the game, to adapt with you as you get stronger!
You get the benefit of having two coaches creating the ideal workout programs to help you crush your goalllllsssssss!
At this price point? That’s nuts!
You’re welcome. :::smile:::
Your workouts will be delivered to you weekly and will cover everything from strength training to cardio endurance training, plus some extra love for abs, back and glutes, as well as mobility and flexibility.
You get it ALL.
And, they’ll be delivered in TWO levels!
LEVEL I - Beginner / Intermediate
LEVEL II - Intermediate / Advanced
So will it work for you? Heck yes it will!
Together, these coaches are the bomb dot com! (Do people still say that?)
On that note….
Why Team Laura: Laura’s expertise is strength training, fitness fundamentals, mat Pilates and HiiT cardio, and she specializes in adults 50-85, beginners, and people with unique health challenges. You can read more about Laura on the ‘About Coach Laura’ page!
You should totally play for Team Laura. She’s like, so awesome, you guys. (Please read that in your best Valley Girl voice. Also, guess who’s editing this page…)
-
Why Team Greg: Greg’s expertise is coaching endurance cardio, triathletes and ironman competitors, whether you’re wanting to get started or already do endurance work but want to go to the next level! You can read more about Greg on the ‘About Coach Greg’ page!

Being on a team is one of the best parts about the game!
You know how you've tried and tried in the past to stick to a program, but you kept falling off the wagon?
Now, because you’re a vital part of a TEAM, you won't let your teammates down!
The game is positive peer pressure done right!
Our first BETA game is 8 weeks long, and it starts September 30, 2024 - so hurry and get your tickets!
The ULTIMATE game is 12 weeks long!
It runs 3x a year:
- In the fall, with a mid-September start date (back to school time, yo!)
- In the winter, with an early January start date (New Year’s Resolution time, yo!)
- In the spring, with an April start date (get set for summer, yo!)
We’re sorry we keep saying “yo!”
(Not really all that sorry.)
COMING SOON
We’re working furiously behind the scenes to create additional games! Games with a unique focus, like mobility or HiiT or run your first 5k! Those games will have varying lengths, varying habits, and varying start dates.
As soon as those are launched, players will be the first to know!
You can keep track of which games are coming up by visiting the GAMES page.
Laura did and she's the boss. Wanna make something of it? She didn't think so. smile
Here's Why:
12 weeks is not only long enough to get epic results, it’s long enough to level up two or even three times!
12 weeks allows your coaches to periodize your programs! Periodizing is what athletes do - think how their training changes before a season, during a season, and in the off-season. You’re getting THE BEST from our coaches!
12 weeks because Laura wanted 12 weeks and she’s bossy the boss.
Note that not ALL of our games are 12 weeks long - only our flagship signature ULTIMATE game. We’ll have other games of varying lengths and varying goals coming at you soon!
Most players play 3 or more times in a row, and dial in a little more each game because they love their results and it's fun and they get better and better at new habits and they want to win and oh because, you know, IT WORKS.
If all you do is play all 3 ULTIMATE games every year, you’re essentially getting on-going personal training at a fraction of the price and with a community of like-minded people!
IT’S THE BEST WE’RE SO EXCITED WE CAN’T WAIT LET’S GOOOOOO
choke sputter cough
Nope! Here’s how we’ve leveled the playing field so anyone at any level can play:
The game is scored on compliance, not ability. It doesn't matter how many push-ups you can (or can't) do - all that matters is that you put in the time and practice the habits. That's how you get points.
Do the things - get points.
Don't do the things - NO POINTS FOR YOU.
So whether you want to find your way back to fitness or take your current abilities to the next level, this game provides the coaching, accountability, and fun to do it!
Yes!
There is always a nutrition habit in the 12-Week Ultimate Game, and there will sometimes be nutrition included in the other games too.
We designed our nutrition guide to accommodate all eating styles, from vegan to keto to Paleo and everything in between, so it works for all.
Essentially, it focuses on eating whole single-ingredient foods as often as possible.
Also, our Nutrition Guide has three levels to choose from. In this way, you can opt to participate at the level that feels “challenging but doable” to you; at the level that challenges you to level up your food choices.
And, you get one day off each week where you can eat what you want. (But keep in mind you can cancel out progress with one day of binge eating…)
Another part of the game is that you can incur penalties for over-eating junky snacks or over-indulging in alcohol.
SOME is allowed at every level, though, so don’t come at me, bro!
Snacks are allowed but MOST OF THEM must be made of ingredients in the compliant foods list in the game’s Nutrition Guide.
Alcohol is allowed too, but only a limited amount (or on your Nutrition Day Off).
And, here’s the thing….
You can have non-compliant snacks and alcohol. You’re a grown-@ss adult, you can do what you want! But when you do, you take a small penalty. That's all.
And, if you want to get fit AF, and you want to get the best results possible, and you want to win, dialing in on nutrition and alcohol is key.
Them’s the facts, folks.
No worries - we got you, boo!
We have a workaround for this!
Your workout assignment each day is to do the coach-assigned workout OR do a a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise.
If you’re sick and you can’t exercise, your teammates can divvy up your 30 workout minutes and do them for you!
All you gotta do is message your coach or message your team in the group chat, and we’ll step up and take some of your minutes!
(They still have to do their own minutes, so use this option sparingly!)
You will still need to do your other habits, even while convalescing, unless….
If you find yourself in extenuating circumstances that make the other points categories difficult to do too, simply message your coach and we'll pause your scoring so your absence doesn’t ding the team’s score.
Talking trash is just our sassy-pants way of saying "Check in, please!"
And you have to check in daily to get your Trash Talk points.
Players are encouraged to be silly and lightly competitive, for example, "I got all my points today - bet you wish I was your teammate!" or “which way to the gun show?” with a gif of someone flexing!
That said, your check-in does not HAVE to be silly to qualify as trash talk. ANY participation - whether by creating a post or even commenting on someone else’s post! - earns you your daily 10 Trash Talk points!
WHY the silliness?
Because Coach Laura and Coach Greg love love love having fun - just wait until you see the banter between them!! Humor is one of their core values!
So they baked it right into the game.
AND, the humor and silly banter are a huge part of what makes Get Fit Done different from (and dare we say better than) alllll the other workout challenges out there!
And don’t worry, we have rules in place for keeping the trash talk light and fun.
Players must sign off on those rules prior to the start of the game.
And finally, if someone steps over the line? Read the next FAQ…..
Yes.
In order to keep the game a safe and fun place for all, players can be disqualified for unsportsmanlike behavior such as harassing or embarrassing another player or over-using foul language.
If a player commits a mild offense, a warning will be given via private message. The player will be allowed to continue so long as no additional offenses occur.
But if they keep it up?
“Bye, Felicia.”
All disqualifications are at the discretion of Laura and her team.
Players who are disqualified will not receive a refund of their game registration. So keep it on the up-and-up, mkay?
(P.S. 28 games have been played so far, and no one has ever been disqualified. Yay!)
You can cancel up until the game's start date and receive a full refund.
If you’re canceling on Day 1 or after, you can apply your registration fee to a future game to be used within one year.
Exceptions may be made if a player needs to drop out for medical reasons.
We cannot refund players after a game has ended.
If you ask Laura, she’ll say that would be her, she’s the game’s original creator. And she knows how to get fit done and get sh!t done!
This game is her baby.
Her pride and joy.
Her outlet for her weird personality.
Her reason for living. (She’s also a tad melodramatic.)
(She can say that because she wrote this.)
If you ask Greg, he’ll say hey, Laura brought me on as a partner and we created this new and improved version of the game together, so let’s not dither about who’s more the boss.
If you ask Laura’s husband, Rob, he’ll say, “Two alphas. Trying to work together. This should be interesting…”
Yooooo, let’s goooooooo! We are SO excited you're going to play! Get on in there. Get your ticket, lace up your sneakers, stretch your hammies, and crack your knuckles. IT'S GONNA BE SO FUN to GET FIT DONE.
