My approach is simple. First, we do what is NECESSARY. The basics: get moving, restart good habits, reconnect with friends and relearn how to have fun.
Then we do what is POSSIBLE... maintain positive habits, make small improvements, build the mental/physical/emotional engine.
Soon you will be crushing goals you thought were IMPOSSIBLE. Anything and everything from changing your body composition, to finishing a 5k, to completing a triathlon, to hiking the Grand Canyon with your kiddos.
