The 5 Habits - EXERCISE


Required: Exercise for 30 Minutes Every Day. Do it - report your score and earn 10 points!
Don't do it - earn 0 points. *womp womp*


These Activities Count:

  • The Workout Program Included in The Game

  • Walking, Running, Biking, Swimming, or Other Cardio

  • Yoga, Pilates, Stretching

  • Weight Lifting, Circuit Training

  • Classes at the Gym

  • Sports Practices

  • and other similar activites!

A workout is defined as 30 minutes dedicated to movement or exercise. The 30 minutes can be split into several shorter segments.

Your goal is to make exercise a regular part of your life.

These Activities Do Not Count:

  • Busy days - that's just life

  • Gardening, Yard Work

  • Cleaning House, Chores

  • Etc

Here's Why: Your goal is to make time for self-care in the form of dedicated movement and exercise. Chores are always a part of life and as such, do not count.


More on the EXERCISE Habit


* Yes, you may exercise for longer than 30 minutes, absolutely, but it doesn't earn you more points. Scoring this way levels the playing field, allowing beginners to compete fairly with, say, marathon runners!

* Yes, the 30 minutes can be split into several shorter segments throughout the day, as long as the minutes are done before midnight. * If you are sick and cannot exercise, your teammates can divvy up your minutes and do them for you! If they do, you take your points, so be sure to reach out to your coach. These minutes are in addition to their own, so use this option only when truly needed.


Exception:


You may take one day off from exercise per week and still get your points for that day! You mark your day off in the scoring app each week.


Scoring:


SCORING is on THE HONOR SYSTEM.
You report your own scores in the Scoring App, and it’s important that you report honestly. Hold yourself to the same standards to which you’d hold players on opposing teams. If you’re unsure if something you’ve done earns points or penalties, message your coach for help, or ask in the community forum and tag your coach!
