PLEASE READ

We call check-ins Trash Talk because it's a game - and humor is encouraged!
Really, though, talking trash is simply code for checking in.

But even though we get to talk trash, we have rules
to keep the community safe for everyone!

Please read through the following rules carefully.

Reading this page constitutes your agreement to abide by these rules!

TRASH TALK RULES

Do not comment on anyone’s looks, weight, body parts, or body type.
Use foul language sparingly, if at all. We don't want to be the word police, but not everyone has the same tolerance for swearing, so keep it to a minimum, please.
Keep it light and fun. If you’re wondering if something you want to say is too much, it probably is.

Examples of Fun + Friendly Trash Talk

"I got my workout in before 7am this morning. You wish you were as disciplined as me!"
- Emily, 8-game player
"I came here to win points and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum."
- Jim, 29-game player
"I got another perfect week! Take that, [other team]!"
- Tam, 17-game player

Can a player be disqualified for breaking the rules?

YES

Players can be disqualified for not following the rules or for unsportsmanlike behavior such as harassing, embarrassing or directly targeting another player.
If a player commits a mild "gray area" offense, our coaches will give a warning via private message. The player will be allowed to continue so long as no additional offenses occur. All disqualifications are at the discretion of Laura Flynn Endres and her staff. Players who are disqualified will not receive a refund of their game registration. So keep it on the up-and-up, mkay?

A note from Coach Laura, Queen of Sass...

I'm a total sassy pants. I love silly banter, and that's why check-in is called Trash Talk! Please know that even when I comment in a way that seems punitive, it's all in fun.

For example, let's say a player posts that she did two workouts in one day and she facetiously asks, "I get extra points for that, yeah?"

I will reply by dropping this guy into the chat:

The ref wielding a red card is my favorite way of saying, "No - Foul!" to
requests for extra points or people begging for french fries to be moved to the compliant list. Those who know me understand this is how I am and it's all in fun.

If we haven't met yet, assume I'm always in silly mode!

Now that you've agreed to the rules...

LET'S PLAY!

What should you do next? Either of these two things!
